Bukit Timah District Campfire

Saturday, 3rd April 2010,
Bukit Timah District Campfire

We met in school at 5.45 pm, and proceeded to Greenridge Primary School at 6.30 pm. Although it rained in the afternoon, it had stopped, and everyone was looking forward to a cool evening, singing songs around a fire. Alas, it not to be, and the cubs had to move to a sheltered area midway when the rain fell again. Although there was no real fire, it was still an evening of fun.

The best part was the snacks which we had brought, but the District had also provided an apple pie and a soyabean drink. Each cub, too had a souvenir campfire badge which they can display proudly on their uniform.
