Games Day 28 October 2023
By Platypus Sixer Evan Li Most of the cubs arrived at 8.50 am for the meeting. Some, including me, arrived at 8.30 am to sign our badges. I got my Musician badge signed. When the meeting started, the senior sixers blew the whistle, and all the cubs got in the horseshoe formation and had the Colour Party. After that, we got into Indian File. It was Games Day. The seniors briefed us about the different games. There were 3 stations. The first station was Basketball and Football , the second station was Captain’s Ball and the third station was Archery. After the briefing, we set off to play. For Archery, there was a table with bottles on it. The objective was to knock down the bottles with the arrow. For Captain’s Ball, the objective was to pass the ball to the captain. For Basketball and Football, we played using half the Basketball court where whichever team had the ball would attack and try to score a goal.
