VIA: Chinese New Year Celebration on 25 January 2025

By Deputy Senior Sixer Zeqi Today, we celebrated Chinese New Year with the elderly residents from AWWA. The day started early, with everyone gathering and lining up in an orderly fashion. Hathi then briefed us on the arts and crafts segment, which was one of the key activities planned for the day. Our task was to guide the elderly in creating a fun dragon craft, a meaningful way to embrace the festive spirit together. Next, Grey Wolf explained the game to the sixers, preparing us to teach both the cubs and the elders. The game involved a box with a hole the size of a ping pong ball. A few ping pong balls were placed inside the box, and four strings attached to the box were each held by one elderly from each group. Their goal was to move the box by tugging on the strings, aiming to drop the balls into the hole. It was a fun, simple challenge that encouraged teamwork and coordination. First Meeting on 18 January 2025

By Senior Sixer Zac Loh Today’s scout meeting was full of energy and fun! We started the morning with a parade, where everyone marched around together. It was a great way to get the group energized and ready for the day. The first activity was the Ping Pong Ball Race. Each scout had to balance a ping pong ball on a spoon and race to the finish line without dropping it. There was plenty of laughter as some scouts tried to carefully balance their balls while others raced ahead, dropping their ping pong balls along the way. The new scouts fit in quickly and had a great time, diving right into the fun and even cheering each other on. After the race, we took a moment to introduce the new scouts to the group. It was nice to officially welcome them and make sure they felt part of the troop. Next up was creating Chinese New Year decorations. We listened to Kaa as we did the decorations .
