About Us

Henry Park Cadet Scout Unit was established in 1982. In 2004, it underwent a transformation, adopting a new name and image: HENRY PARK PELICAN SCOUT, in alignment with the school acronym, HPPS.

Embodying the virtue of GENEROSITY, the pelican exemplifies honor by gracefully bowing when meeting others. It demonstrates care by shielding its unhatched eggs from the sun and keeping them warm in cold weather. Pelican parents share the responsibility of incubating their eggs, taking turns to ensure their offspring's well-being.

Despite facing challenges such as other birds pilfering their catch, pelicans exhibit patience and resilience, diligently replenishing their food supply without complaint.
