Tenderfoot Camp Day 2 21 Jan 2024
By Emu Sixer Niu Yunhan
I woke up at 6.00 a.m, unwillingly called up by the other sixers. We got changed and brushed our teeth quickly and then went to lead the morning exercise, which made us all more awake and ready for the day. We did it and went to eat breakfast, which was bread with cheese and ham. We did a very loud tick-tock chant.
As the camp drew to a close, the tenderfoots learned to pack their belongings and maintain cleanliness in the area, though a few lost items were found amidst the hustle. Departing with joyous hearts, they sang the campfire songs they had learned during their time together.
I thought that this experience was very good for the tenderfoots as it helped them develop their independence and helped them learn more about Scouting. There, I witnessed first-hand how the tenderfoots became more and more independent and getting more life skills. It was truly an inspiring and enriching experience for me.
