Track & Trail, 2ndMar2019
Written by Kwan Kai Fong, Assistant Senior
Sixer and scribe.
We started with horseshoe as usual, however the sixer
was not here so the assistant sixer had to take over and I was proud of him for
an assistant sixer.
Next, Mr Tan taught us how to tie a reef knot and
thumb knot after that we went into six corner. Mr Chong explained what it was
after that we picked our groups it took way too long and once they were called
back the sixers weren’t even done writing. The unit except for the Akela
candidates, who planed and made the trail for the recruits and those who have
not got their bronze arrow (the first major award) and the other part of the
unit got another lecture by Mr Cheong. When I saw the faces of the recruits, I
could tell they were having a good time. After that was the parents meeting for
job week.
