Shelter Building, 29th July 2017

My Six and I were in position in our horse shoe formation. Soon the colour party started. It was Emu’s turn to do it. After the colour party and the administration stuff such as taking attendance, we begin with the main activity of the day. Mr Cheong taught us how to build a simple basha (shelter). He introduced the various equipments needed for basha building. Mr Cheong also shown us some pictures of various designs of basha. After the introduction, we were told our task for today -- each Six had to build a basha. The respective Six were all eager to start building our own basha. My Six and I started the shelter building. It looked easy but was actually harder that it looked. Gaven and I hammered two poles onto the ground, but the poles kept falling down. So we had to use the pegs and some string
