Welcoming the new recruits on 7 February 2026

Term 1 Week 5 By Koala Sixer Damon Kwok   I arrived at school at 0845hrs, all excited to welcome the new recruits into the Six.  Shortly after, we formed up for Colour Party and then gathered in Indian File as instructed by Senior Sixer Ryan. Kaa started calling out the name of each of the recruits and which six they would be in, and everyone was eager to find out which recruit will be joining their Six. As the recruits were assigned to their Six, the members of each Six warming welcomed them.  After that, we were split into groups for games on scouting knowledge. The first game involved us sitting in a circle with a cone in the middle. An alumni would ask questions related to scouting and whoever knew the answer would run to the cone, pick it up and shout out the answer. First Meeting on 17 January 2026

Term 1 Week 2 By Deputy Senior Sixer Isaac Li I arrived at Kidzone today and found my fellow Sixers setting up the flagpole. Soon after, we formed a colour party in the horseshoe formation. We began with Six Corners, where the Sixers met the Cubs after a long break and set expectations for the year ahead.  After that, we started the Best Six Foot Drill competition. Each sixer had to train their own six to practice some simple commands like “Senangdiri” and “Sediya” and “Kelua Baris”. I joined Koala to help them and the six of 5 did pretty well. We then went to go for the competition. In the end, the six coached by Michael and Ryan – Wallabat – won first place and we were a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, we learned how to do the foot drill better and were prepared for next time.  Then, we played Butterflies and Bees with Grey Wolf for half an hour. I was the bee for a round along with Michael and Ryan, and we were the only bees that managed to capture all the butterflies...
