It
was the day of our badge test, I came to school for scouts 20 minutes early to
get my collectors proficiency badge. I passed the presentation for my badge and
got the signature. Later on during horseshoe, Bagheera announced that today we were
doing a badge test and that we would go into our small groups to teach the new
scouts about the kinds of badges we have and where to put them.
After we were in our six group, we
were told that the Singapore flag badge that most scouts were wearing was only
supposed to be used when going overseas as a pack, otherwise, they would have
to be removed.
Soon, the Akela candidates were
called out by Mr Cheong to tell us the Akela introduction while the other scouts did their
arrows. He showed us previous Akela candidates submissions, I was impressed by
their work.
Later, we had 15 minutes to try to
get some signatures for our Akela award in the yellow book and tried to recall
the dates of our scout camps. After that, we all got into horse shoe for sunset
party before we left. It was announced that our badge test was next week so
that we could have the whole week to change our badges in case they were in the
wrong place so that we would not have to lose points for our six.
After sunset party, me and my
brother went to get some signatures for proficiency badges then left for home.
