NEA Badge 13Oct2018
Written by Thirrushan, Asst Sixer & Scribe It was the 13th of October 2018 and I woke up earlier than usual, as it was a Saturday! Saturday’s only meant one thing- scouts! When I reached the kid zone, there were very little members. Soon, it was time for the colour party and we went into horseshoe position. Many of the Primary Fives were not here, as they went for the Akela award ceremony. I already have my gold arrow, so I am sure I will be like them next year! This meeting, we were going to try to get the NEA cleanliness badge! We went to the Teaching Lab for the briefing by Mr Tan. For the next few hours, we went discussed cleanliness, Dengue, and energy efficiency. First, we talked about the badge. It was a badge witch the brownies can do too. Respect, Harmony, Responsibility, Care, Resilience and Integrity are the 6 core values of this badge( but mentioned by Mr Tan, the 6 core values of the CCE guidelines). Secondly, we talked about cleanliness.
